We had our second our practice of the year tonight. The girls love these practices, not only do they get the whole ice to themselves but they also get to play outside at night and have hot chocolate afterwards.

SuperBoy Specs

We recently found out that Jacques needs glasses to correct a lazy left eye. He’s pretty cool about the whole thing as long as we were able to get him some Superman blue titanium specs. I must admit that they look pretty sharp on the little guy.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates

If you a preschooler, you already know all about Peter Pan’s new buddy Jake and his band of Neverland pirates who sail the seas, find doubloons and try to avoid Captain Hook as much as possible. Well our boys are huge fans these day and for their 4th birthday we had a mega pirate party and Denise made this awesome Bucky (Jake’s Boat) cake. The logs are chocolate fingers and the portholes are chocolate buttons, the sails of course are made with fruit roll ups.

Needless to say the boys were chuffed with their cake.
