I swear to god, I’m sure the I had this guy as my College physics professor. He once refused to strap a couch to the roof of his Volvo 240 because he had calculated all the acceleration and deceleration for every stop sign and traffic light on the way home, when he finally got pulled over, he simply handed the cop his notebook. So the cop let him off for negligent driving but leactured him resisting arrest and failing to tie a red scarf to the couch. That Shit got Real!

Kerry Callen’s Blog!: Invulnerability doesn’t solve all problems.
Andy Ihnatko:
“And now I want Kerry Callen to write and draw a full issue of “Superman.” “
I couldn’t agree more.

Roving Mammoth – Slope Side Burritos
“When the thing you want most seems out of reach, you’ve got two options: give up, or find the raccoon suit and make damn sure you tap ‘A’ like a bandit while the P is flashing. Putting eats you want in places that’re hard to reach even with the Super Leaf, Roving Mammoth.”
I can’t exactly see this thing working too well in Les Laurentides or even Quebec’s Stoneham and Mont St-Anne where slope side Timmies are more common place than ski patrols. But if the smell of bio-diesel fumes doesn’t put you off your munchies, this thing should be a great hit.

Photo Superbe – Mom
During our walk down the beach yesterday, I was able to play around with some HDR photos using the Joby Gorillapod to stabilize the shot. We got there a little after sunset but still managed to get some nice light for a few really nice family pics. As usual I posted them on Flickr for family to see first and so GrandMaman could see the kids. Well apparently she really liked this one, so I thought I should probably make it public too. Here it is Branksome Chine Beach looking onto Old Harry Rocks in Bournemouth.

Dipping My Toes in the Sea
Despite the -4C air temp, I just had to dip my toes in the water. My foot was actually warmer than my hands holding the camera. I really do love Bournemouth!
