Sorry McGuiver
Valois Bay SuperMoon
Last night the moon was 14% and 30% that it has been in 18 years. So what better night to set up the tripod and 30 year old 400mm Vivitar Pentax prime lens my Buddy Al is letting me hold onto. Photo taken in in the Valois Bay of Montreal, Canada
Set Up:
Pentax K200D in Fully Manual
ISO 200
Shutter 1/200
F6.3
Focal Length (35mm) 600mm
Focal Length 400mm
Lens M-42 mount with K-mount adapter ring Vivitar 400MM Telephoto Prime
Trusty Tripod
I took a series of shots 1/60, 1/100, 1/125, 1/160 but this 1/200 is by far the one with the most details.
I think I nailed it!
We have dreamt of saying this at one point!
I’ll admit to having held back these words on more than one occasion in the 17 happy years I have know my wife.

About The Zombiepocalypse

Just when you think a Twitter feed is run by machines, something happens to remind you that a real person with a real sense of humor is on duty. The Boston Police Department assures us that they aren’t holding back pertinent information. -via Breakfast Links

Holmes on Pigs & Birds… Make it right!
The Joy of Tech comic… Make it right!:
“If the pigs from Angry Birds hired a building inspector”
I love the fact that it’s Mike Holmes, the baddest ass Canuck builder in the universe. And I’m not just saying that because Mike could totally kick my ass, but because he’s a true Canadian and stands for the same work values and service expectations as we do over at 2FatDads. Joy of Tech really did me proud with this one.
