I never understood why North American law insist that motorcycles must sit in traffic breathing in exhaust fumes rather then filter their way up through their heavy traffic and liberate spaces. Not only shortening traffic queues but also making it a little safer for the bikers themselves.
When I was a commuter in England, I would get shouted at by traffic cops on bikes for just sitting behind Volvos and angry Merc drivers. In fact on more than one occasion I was escorted to the front of the queue by the boys in blue on their Pan-Europeans.
I must admit that one thing us Canuck’s are better at is crazy helmets.
